MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING –  March 26, 2012 5:00 PM

Selectmen Present:        Steven DellaGiustina and Thomas Paine

Also Present:   

Received an invoice from Pittsfield Communications Systems, Inc.. The invoice is in the amount of $1,382.40, for the installation of an antenna system for the Emergency Management Department. The monies were voted at the Fiscal 2012 Annual Town Meeting. Emergency Management Director, Ted Locke and Eric R. Munson, III, Police Chief will be requested to meet with the Selectboard to discuss the antenna.

A Letter was received from the Department of Environmental Protection regarding converting the Transfer Station recyclables to a Single Stream System. The letter will be given to Wayne Carr, Highway superintendent for his opinion.

An email was received from State Ethics Commission with notification of the New Conflict of Interest Law Online Training Program for Municipal Employees. The purpose of this email is to provide information so that municipalities and regional municipal agencies can prepare to notify their employees about the new online training program.

The Board of Selectmen will be given a list from the 501C3 board showing the remainder of items that have been requested for the Public Safety Complex and a balance of monies that is available to purchase them. The 501C3 board will be asking the Board of Selectmen to prioritize the list.

Selectmen voted to add a line item of $10,000 to the Fiscal 2013 budget for the renovations of the Town Hall.
